«Journalists can't judge my plan correctness»

Einar Bjorndalen (Norway), five-times Olympic champion, fourteen-times World champion:

— Vancouver Olympic games were good for me: I managed to win «silver» for the individual race and «gold» for the relay race. But I was too disappointed with my performance in mass-start. I made many mistakes preparing for Vancouver: there were too many people around me who shouldn't have been by my side. My main aim now is to be in the perfect form in Sochi in four years. I'm going to find an optimal training variant for me. I'd like to win the Great crystal globe. I haven't manage with it this year: I had to miss a lot in World Cup to be in the best shape at the Vancouver Games.

I want a good team of specialists around me. I'm going to continue to help Emil Hegle Svendsen and also other members of our team to be in their best shape. The stronger they are, the more difficult they are to compete with and that is excellent for me. Perhaps I'll train harder.

I'll try to add skiing speed, to shoot faster and more accurately. My aim is to be stable at shooting all the year round, not only before Christmas and several races in January. Counting on fast shooting I follow my plan. Journalists are not sportsmen and can't judge this plan correctness. I shoot at such speed and consider this great. This day both speed and accurate shooting are important.
